On to Wisconsin

The Coastline of Lake Superior is very scenic.  It looks just like the Ocean, except more tranquil.  Despite how it looks, storms can be pretty severe on any of The Great Lakes, and some 350 shipwrecks have occurred on Superior alone.  We biked along the coast, on the Gitchee Gami bike trail, for 12 miles one day, and 14 another.  Also hiked and explored, in some of the State Parks. I think hiking along Lake Superior is pretty high class--they provide you with a personal "potty!" On to a short stint through Wisconsin, then into Michigan and Macinac Island, Sault St. Marie, etc.
