continue the journey!

Wow! This has been the most beautiful three days so far!  The weather was delightful in Sedona , Arizona.  We were in shorts and a t-shirt for the last day, yesterday.  The temp was in the 70's by the end of our 8 mile hike up Mt. Wilson, a 7,100 foot mountain surrounding Sedona.  We were aiming for the top, but at 6,600 feet, there was still too much snow, and we didn't have the proper equipment to traverse such deep pockets of soft, slushy snow.  We would have sunk in too far.  Still, reaching as high as we did in such beautiful sunny weather was a real high for us.  I had a chance to do some browsing in Sedona, where there is much Indian jewelry, pottery and the like.  Hated to leave, but on to Nevada and our next stop, Hoover Dam!  Love and miss you all, Dee and Allen , the wanderers!
