It also shows our reliance on impounding and transporting water long distancs across the desert so humans can live and feed ourselves in places where normally we could not exist in the densities we do...i.e., LA.
But that's neither here nor there...enjoy Nevada! You should drive through the Ruby Mountains as you are heading north, or go over to Joshua Tree!
The prior comment was a test to see if I could finally comment! Each of the many times I tried it said I had to select a profile from the list. I think they should just let you post something regardless, but anyway I finally had to sign up for a Gmail account and I'm in! Yipee! Triunto! Dee I'm enjoying your journey - So far you've hit lots of the places we've been while out west. Beautiful scenery, that's why we fell in love with it out there. I remember visiting Hoover Dam the first time with Aunt Em and Uncle Chuck when we visited them in AZ back in the 80s, then again about 10 years ago. An awesome masterpiece of engineering for sure - Love you guys - thanks for sharing all the fun with us!
